My plan was simple: get up at 2:30 (timed to see the Queen arrive), watch wedding, and head back to bed at 4:00. (some of us still have to work...) I followed my agenda to the letter. Unfortunately, this meant two things 1) I missed the royal exit from Westminster Abbey and 2) I should have stayed up because it took me forever to get back to sleep.
This lovely slipper shot is proof that I was indeed watching
the festivities on the other side of the pond at 0 dark 30.
Reasons for posting this photograph?
1) It says LIVE!
2) During our visit to the Abbey we sat in the choir cloister, 2nd row,
on the left side of the screen. Talk about memories!

I also watched it. I wish I could say it was for noble reasons, like wanting to pass along a story to my kids. But the reality was that Connor woke up, wanted a bottle, and a certain VERY pregnant person couldn't fall asleep. I did, however, stop watching after they made it to the Palace (I think around 4am). So I missed the kiss. Then, because I'm a dork...I had to google the kiss when I woke up. That's the best part about getting married, after all. Well...that and the fact that you get to spend the rest of your life with your husband. Haha!
I actually wondered if you'd be up! Of course, I hoped it would be for fun and not because you it was either that or counting sheep. :-) I had to watch the kiss first thing too!
